U.S. Air Force Col. Clinton M. Wilson, right, outgoing commander, 386th Air Expeditionary Wing, receives the Legion of Merit from Maj. Gen. Clark J. Quinn, assistant deputy commander, Ninth Air Force (Air Forces Central), during a change of command ceremony at the base theater at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, July 1, 2022. Wilson has served as a combat deputy operations group commander, squadron commander, flight commander, flight examiner, instructor and aircrew pilot in multiple aircraft. He has over 3,200 hours of total flight time, 490 combat/combat support sorties and over 1,200 combat/combat support hours.
