U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Otis Jones, former vice superintendent of the U.S. Air Force Academy, is promoted from colonel to brigadier general in an official ceremony with his family pinning on his new rank, June 29, 2022. Jones' last official duty day at the school was July 1, 2022. He leaves the Academy to serve as the commander of the 86th Airlift Wing at Ramstein Air Base, Germany.
