MANAMA, BAHRAIN (July 11, 2022) - U.S. Marine Brig. Gen. Matthew S. Reid, Commanding General of Naval Amphibious Force, Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade (TF 51/5) visited the Expeditionary Sea Base USS Lewis B. Puller (ESB 3) during an exchange of command, July 11. Puller is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
