Attendees of a one-day training program in Authentic Happiness pose for a photo after a team-building paintball match near Ramstein Air Base in Germany April 24, 2019. The training, held inside and outside the classroom, was led by Chaplain (Capt.) Portmann Werner and designed to bring people together as a team and strengthen bonds. More recently, Werner has stepped forward to become a mentor and proponent of the True North program that embeds providers and spiritual leaders within squadrons and groups with a goal of normalizing help-seeking of team members.
