A Soldier from Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 181st Infantry Regiment, 44th Infantry Brigade Combat Team aids a Soldier role-playing an enemy prisoner of war during a during a platoon attack drill during the eXportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) exercise at Fort Drum, N.Y. on July 19, 2022. More than 2,500 Soldiers are participating in the training event, which enables brigade combat teams to achieve the trained platoon readiness necessary to deploy, fight, and win. The Soldiers from the 181st are part of the Massachusetts Army National Guard and the rest of the 44th Infantry Brigade is composed of units from New Jersey.
