Georgia Tech Research Institute college and high school students receive an operations class for the M107A9 Paladin howitzer, assigned to the "BattleKings Battalion," 1st Battalion, 9th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, during a research visit to Fort Stewart, Georgia, July 19, 2022. The goal of the visit was to educate students and build partnerships through collaboration with GTRI and their affiliate programs, who are researching ways to improve the way artillery Soldiers track ammunition as part of the Army's modernization efforts.
