Last week Deputy Assistant Secretary Margarita Devlin visited the City of Boston, she started out by visiting a Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program grantee, the New England Center and Home for Veterans, and she stopped in at the Transition Assistance Program at Hanscom Air Force Base (Mass.).
DAS Devlin also toured the North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters which offers apprenticeships with our Employment Navigator & Partnership Pilot, Helmets to Hardhats.
She also had the opportunity to meet Secretary Cheryl Poppe, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs - Massachusetts, Susan McDonough from The Women Veterans' Network of the Department of Veterans' Services, and Commander Billie J. Farrell, USS Constitution.
VETS is grateful to have such dedicated partners in the Boston region supporting #veterans in their communities.
