Finnish Army Col. Riku Suikkanen, deputy commander of the Pori Brigade, addresses and compliments the cooperation of both U.S. and Finnish soldiers with each other at the end of a combined training exercise at Niinisalo, Finland, July 21, 2022. The 3rd ABCT, 4th ID and the Pori Brigade began summer training in Finland to strengthen relations and help build interoperability between the two nations. The 3rd ABCT is among other units assigned to the 1st Infantry Division, under command and control of V Corps, America's forward deployed corps in Europe, proudly working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces.
