PHILADELPHIA July 26, 2022 -- Joint Task Force Civil Support commanding general, U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Jeff Van, left, and Task Force 46 commanding general Maj. Gen. Pablo Estrada Jr. listen to presentations from local, state, federal, academic, U.S. military, private sector and international homeland defense and defense support of civil authority partners in Philadelphia, during the Task Force 46 Multi-Domain Operations Dense Urban Terrain Exercise 2022, July 26, 2022. The DUT builds unity of effort among all partners in consequence management response and facilitates information sharing, interoperability, and coordination in response to a catastrophic incident requiring a national response effort to include civilian partners, active-duty military, National Guard and joint military forces. JTF-CS conducts CBRN response and all-hazards DSCA operations in support of the lead federal agency in order to save lives, mitigate human suffering, and prevent further injury.
