Soldiers assigned to the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) participate in the Korean War Veterans Memorial Wall of Remembrance Dedication Ceremony in Washington, D.C., July 27, 2022. The Wall of Remembrance will feature the names of more than 36,000 Americans who died supporting the War and over 7,100 Koreans who died while augmenting the Army. Doug Emhoff, The Second Gentleman, Jake Sullivan, National Security Adviser, Lee Jong-sup, Minister of Defense of South Korea, Gen. John H. Tilleli (Ret.), Chairman of the Korean War Veterans Memorial Foundation, laid a wreath in honor of those who served and gave their lives in the conflict.
