KOROR, Palau (July 19, 2022) — Aviation Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Brian Bickmeier gives direction to a SH-60K helicopter attached to Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force ship JS Kirisame (DD 104) aboard Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) as part of a multilateral search and rescue exercise coordinated with the U.S. Navy, Republic of Palau, U.S. Coast Guard, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and Royal Navy in support of Pacific Partnership 2022.
