What inspired you to get involved with RAD?
“The opportunity to perform a physically demanding challenge with a motivated group of individuals as a part of a team.”
What has been the most valuable takeaway so far?
“The people that I’ve been able to meet along the way. With over 16 career fields included in this group and a variety of ranks, each person has been able to offer a unique perspective to the ideas and challenges we’ve encountered. I’m glad I got to build this network through Rapid Airman Development.”
How are you feeling about the 4 Days Ruck and what challenges are you anticipating?
“Investing in the development of young motivated Airmen to network with agencies that either complement or open up opportunities to help out the team will secondarily improve teamwork and synergistic effects needed to fight tomorrow’s battles. Challenges forage bonds with others and it is through these difficult marches that I have built connections across Team Dyess and in the U.S. Army.”
