U.S. Army Maj. Duane Dumlao, Army Field Support Battalion-Africa, U.S. Army Sgt. 1st class Tehran Jones, Army Field Support Battalion-Africa, and U.S. airman 1st Lt. Gary Frisk, 731st MUNS represented the United States Armed Forces at a commemoration ceremony in Pian di Novello, Italy, July 31, 2022.
Fallen form WWII were honored together with the commander of partisans "XI ZONE" Manrico Ducceschi also known as "Pippo" who received, from the United Stated, the bronze star medal for heroic actions and the aid he supplied to the Anglo-American Forces by hampering German military operations in Italy.
