MAYPORT, Fla. - (July 29, 2022) – U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Jason Hollander, a security liaison with U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South, watches as the Spearhead-class expeditionary fast transport ship USNS Burlington (T-EPF-10), departs Naval Station Mayport, July 29, 2022. Hollander is embarked aboard the Burlington as part of the Integrated Information and Intelligence Support Team (I3ST), a concept designed to use task organized Marine Corps forces to enable naval operations on ships and ashore, advancing the capabilities of the Navy/Marine Corps team. Burlington is deployed to the U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations to support expeditionary maintenance to deployed littoral combat ships operating in the region and conduct theater security cooperation engagements to maintain access, enhance interoperability and build enduring partnerships in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
