    USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76)

220803-N-UF592-1007 PHILIPPINE SEA (August 3, 2022) Hull Maintenance Technician Fireman Anthony Caudel, from West Plains, Missouri, welds a quick-acting water-tight door frame in the machine repair shop aboard the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) in the Philippine Sea, Aug. 3. Ronald Reagan’s machine repair shop is capable of replicating a variety of replacement parts to ensure Reagan’s mission readiness. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
