Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force, JoAnne S. Bass, recognizes Tech. Sgt. David Vera, 6th Maintenance Squadron corrosion control noncommissioned officer in charge, at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, August 4, 2022. Vera initiated laser paint removal technology at MacDill AFB, arming the base with the most powerful laser in the U.S. Air Force, mitigating corrosion concerns and saving the 6th Air Refueling Wing ample amounts of time and money.
