U.S. Marines from Marine Air Traffic Control Mobile Team (MMT), Marine Air Control Squadron 1, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, contact the combat operations center from the Fresno Yosemite International Airport, Fresno, California, Aug. 4, 2022. The MMT provided communication coordination between air and ground units in support of Marine-Air-Ground Task Force operations in support of exercise Summer Fury 22. Summer Fury 22 is designed to enhance Marine-Air-Ground Task Force integration and increase aviation operations proficiency with realistic, relevant training to ensure the Marine Corps’ largest aircraft wing remains operationally excellent, interoperable, deployable on short notice and lethal when called into action.
