A 20th Special Forces Group operator calls for his team to follow him through a trench littered with ordnance debris toward a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter landing nearby to pick them up following a live fire training exercise near Chester Township, Michigan, August 6, 2022. The mission—part of Northern Strike, an annual multinational joint training event headquartered at the Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center in Michigan—required a team to enter the area on two helicopters, find and clear all targets in a compound, destroy a simulated communications device, and leave on the same helicopters in a matter of minutes.
