Northern Irish Army Soldiers assigned to the 2 Rifles, United Kingdom, zero their SA80 rifle, a NATO service weapon, at Camp Grayling, Mich., Aug. 7, 2022. The weapons have “swords” affixed to the front because the Soldiers train like they fight by shooting first, then stabbing, to eliminate rows of targets. The 2 Rifles are assigned to the 7 Rifles and are in northern Michigan completing annual training at Northern Strike 22-2. This year’s exercise brings 7,400 people from 19 states and 4 coalition countries to northern Michigan. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Staff Sgt. Tegan Kucera)
