Patriot Launching Station Operator Maintainers, Sgt. Paul George, Pfc. Genesis Vidal, Pfc. Erika Vidal and Pfc. Edgar Alamendarez assinged to Bravo Battery, 5th Battalion, 7th Air Defense Artillery, 10th Army Air Missile Defense Command, rest on a 10AAMDC Patriot missile launcher after completing Bravo Battery's certification tables for their transfer of authority to NATO, Aug. 9 in Slovakia. In April, 2022, Bravo Battery deployed to NATO’s Eastern flank in Slovakia after that country generously transferred their S300 missiles to aid Ukraine in the defense of its airspace. The deployment of Bravo Battery is another example of our commitment to defend every inch of NATO territory including the skies. (U.S. Army Photo by 2nd Lt. Emily Park)
