ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 4, 2022) Damage Controlman 1st Class Tyler Kruse, from Deer Park, N.Y., connects a fuel hose to conduct helicopter in-flight refueling (HIFR) on a MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 79, Detachment 2, on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Paul Ignatius (DDG 117), Aug. 4, 2022. Paul Ignatius, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations, employed by U.S. Sixth Fleet to defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
