A pair of F-15 Eagle fighter jets assigned to Barnes Air National Guard Base, fly alongside a KC-46 Pegasus assigned to the 157th Air Refueling Wing, in the sky off the coast of New England, Aug. 3, 2022. The fighters were refueled by the KC-46 as part of the Super Sortie exercise. The non-stop, 22-hour mission demonstrated the full range of the new tanker’s capabilities, including aerial refueling, crew sustainment, and in-flight mission planning.
