220812-N-PC065-3040 BALTIC SEA (Aug. 12, 2022) – U.S. Marines, attached to the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), carry their gear across the flight deck of the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24) to load into a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 263 (Rein.), during flight operations in the Baltic Sea, Aug. 12, 2022. The Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and 22nd MEU, under the command and control of Task Force 61/2, is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations, employed by U.S. Sixth Fleet to defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
