Lt. Gen. Theodore D. Martin (second from left), commanding general for the U.S. Army Combined Arms Center and Fort Leavenworth, along with Dr. Keith Mispagel (left), superintendent for Fort Leavenworth USD 207, Tyler Fowler (second from right), Patton Junior High School principal, and Myron Griswold (right), president of the Fort Leavenworth USD 207 Board of Education, cut the ribbon for the new Patton Junior High School on Fort Leavenworth. In November 2018, the Fort Leavenworth Board of Education began the process of replacing the original Patton Junior High School which was built in 1958.
