The soldiers representing 2nd Brigade Combat Team “Strike”, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), and the XVIII Airborne Corps started day two of the FORSCOM Best Squad competition with a flight on a Boeing CH-47 Chinook to conduct patrol lanes. While conducting patrol lanes competitors reacted to contact and launched their own ambush at Ft. Hood, Tx. Aug.16, 2022.
Each of these events are designed to test the physical and mental toughness along with the lethality of each squad to see which squad will represent FORSCOM at the Best Squad of the Army competition that will take place at Ft.
