    31st Marine Expeditionary Unit       

    A U.S. Navy Sailor assigned to USS New Orleans (LPD 18) signals fleet replenishment oiler USNS Rappahannock (T-AO 204) during a replenishment-at-sea (RAS) in the Philippine Sea, Aug. 10, 2022.
    RAS helps units restock the ship with supplies, tools and food while underway.
    The 31st MEU is operating aboard the ships of the Tripoli Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific Region.
