U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from the 996th Engineering Company, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, conduct the final stages of their bi-annual Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services during exercise Platinum Wrench, Aug. 17, 2022, on Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. Each Soldier must know how to complete a full PMCS to ensure that the vehicles are safe and mission capable. Platinum Wrench gives maintenance and supply Soldiers the opportunity to perform hands-on maintenance and repair of equipment and vehicles to enhance their technical skills while working on real-world missions.
