A U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III takes off Aug. 12, 2022, as a U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor taxis during the Kaneohe Bay Air Show at Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Both aircraft are assigned to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam and operated by members of the Hawaii Air National Guard. The event was held to celebrate the military’s longstanding relationship with the local community and give the public an opportunity to witness the capabilities of the joint force.
