Team Yokota’s Airlifter of the Week is Senior Airman Candelaria, who is a personnel specialist from the 374th Civil Engineer Squadron. Candelaria is charged with handling her squadron’s administrative personnel tasks to include evaluation, decoration, assignments, separations and retirements for nearly 350 Airmen.
Candelaria distinguished herself by working at a level above her rank, developing training plans for three other squadrons, and chaired Yokota’s First Four committee where her efforts led 36 Airmen to promote cultural awareness to more than 11 thousand people at the base Juneteenth Festival.
Clearly Candelaira is killing it both in and out of her job, and justly deserves to be Airman of the Week. Congratulations!
