U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Francis Donovan, the outgoing commanding general (CG) of 2d Marine Division (MARDIV), gives remarks at a change of command ceremony on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Aug. 18, 2022. “Competency and lethality reside in these formations lined up in front of us,” explained Donovan. “Every challenge I have given them, they have exceeded by expectations… I couldn’t be more proud of these Marines and Sailors.” During the ceremony, Donovan relinquished command of the division to Brig.
