HÅGAT, Guam (Aug. 9, 2022) – Personnel from visiting ship USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115) and community members assisted with cleanup efforts at Marcial Sablan Elementary School in Hågat, Aug. 9. The collaborative beautification effort was an opportunity for volunteers to assist with preparing the school for its first day of classes Aug. 10. During the 4-hour clean-up, volunteers removed foliage and debris throughout the campus. The Marcial Sablan campus is one of 40 Guam Department of Education schools, preparing for its first day of school.
