Spc. The U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity’s Warfighter Deployed Medical Systems, the U.S. Army Medical Test and Evaluation Activity (USAMTEAC), and Soldiers with the 551st MLC and 51st MLC partnered at Fort Detrick to assess three commercially available medical-grade oxygen generating systems. The medical logistics and biomedical equipment specialists’ job during testing is to ensure the oxygen generators meet the Army’s standards for performance in field-like conditions. USAMMDA is a subordinate command of the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command, under the Army Futures Command.
