U.S. Marine Corps Col. Dennis W. Sampson, commanding officer of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) meets with Combat Logistics Battalion 22 leaders during a 26th MEU field exercise on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Aug. 24, 2022. The exercise is running concurrently to CLB-22’s Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation. The MEU FEX is focused on the rapid deployment of troops and the MEU’s ability to exercise command and control in a distributed environment.
