Defense Finance and Accounting Service’s Accounting Standards and Reporting Director Rebecca Beck highlighted important women throughout history at the installation’s Women’s Equality Day virtual observance Aug. 17. Beck, a member of the Senior Executive Service and former DFAS-Columbus deputy director, served as the day’s keynote speaker. Women’s Equality Day is officially observed annually on Aug. 26 to coincide with the certification of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote.
