An American bull-riding professional attempts to stay mounted on a bucking bull during the Bulls, Bands, and Barrels show held at the Forrest County Multipurpose Center, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Aug. 27, 2022. American bull riding, known as "the most dangerous eight seconds in sports," is a rodeo sport which involves a rider attempting to stay mounted while a bull tries to buck the rider off. The Marines of Recruiting Station Baton Rouge and 6th Marine Corps District visited the family event to interact with the local community. The action-packed rodeo show featured bull riders, horseback barrel racing, and a live musical performance. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Kevin Lopez Herrera)
