Airmen from the 6th Airlift Squadron use a fuel truck to extract fuel from the C-17 to support the supply of fuel to a fifth-generation aircraft as part of the Agile Combat Employment training on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Aug. 24, 2022. Airmen from the 6th AS, 305th Air Mobility Wing conducted integrated training and utilized Agile Combat Employment concepts to prepare for Air Force Force Generation deployments. Exercising ACE elements enables our forces to operate with varying levels of capacity and support, to generate lethal combat power. The AFFORGEN model will increase high-end readiness necessary to deploy as cohesive units and deliver Rapid Global Mobility in support of combatant commanders, the Joint Force, and our allies and partners to meet National Defense Strategy requirements.
