Shime-daiko drummers with Jaagaru Eisa Group, prepare to perform in an Eisa march in the Plaza Housing area, Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 21, 2022. Originating from Okinawa, Eisa started as a traditional dance performed by Japanese Buddhist monks to honor the spirits of their ancestors.
