HONIARA, Solomon Islands (Aug. 31, 2022) — Lt. j.g. Celeste Arteaga, from Rock Island, Illinois, right, teaches local nurses from the Solomon Islands how to perform CPR on a simulated patient aboard Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) in the ship's intensive care unit in support of Pacific Partnership 2022. Now in its 17th year, Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific. Pacific Partnership is a unifying mission that fosters enduring friendships and cooperation among many nations.
