U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 1st Combat Communications Squadron conduct the first training session with the 37th Airlift Squadron using mobile Link 16 equipment at Base Aérienne Grostenquin, France, Aug. 26, 2022. Airmen using the new technology at airdrop or landing sites can contact aircrews from much further away than with standard voice communication systems, enabling them to share information earlier.
