U.S. Air Force Gen. James B. Hecker, U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa commander, dines with Airmen assigned to the 435th Air Ground Operations Wing during an immersion tour at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Aug. 31, 2022. Hecker spoke with Airmen concerning the obstacles and challenges that being stationed at Ramstein can bring. The 435th AGOW units rapidly deploy forces to the Forward Edge and conduct Command and Control, execute the kill-chain, and set the theater to project combat airpower.
