Gov. Tate Reeves, governor of Mississippi, provides an update during a press conference in Jackson, Mississippi, Sept. 1, 2022. Following flooding, the main treatment plant in Jackson experienced an issue that caused little to no water to flow to residents. Mississippi National Guardsmen were set up across seven sites through Jackson for people to collect bottled water and non-potable water from water buffalo trucks.
