SAN DIEGO (Sep. 1, 2022) – Vice Adm. Roy Kitchener, commander of U.S. Naval Surface Forces, promoted Lt. Cmdr. Christina A. Danai, chief engineer aboard Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Manchester (LCS 14). Danai is a member of the Naval Junior Officer Council and received the 2022 Junior Officer Capt.
