U.S. Marines with the Aviation Combat Element (ACE), Marine Rotational Force-Darwin (MRF-D) 22 conduct special fueling operations alongside a U.S. Air Force C-17 with the 535th Airlift Squadron at RAAF Base Darwin, NT, on Aug. 17 2022. The TAGRS employment combined concepts of expeditionary advanced base operations and agile combat employment and resulted in a more efficient, immediate refuel technique for the MRF-D ACE.
