Chief Master Sgt. Charles Clingman, Jr., retires from military service at Sumpter Smith Joint National Guard Base, Alabama, Sept. 10, 2022. Clingman first enlisted in 1983 and served in Philippines, Guam and Korea in addition to multiple locations in the United States during his career.
