The aircraft transporting Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall taxis on a busy flightline during Northern Strike 22-2 Aug. 11, 2022, Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center, Mich. Activity on the flightline during his visit included two 137th Special Operations Wing (SOW) MC-12W aircraft with the Oklahoma National Guard and the 137th SOW Mission Sustainment Team was conducting multi-capable Airman training alongside the A-10 Thunderbolt II ACE team with 107th Fighter Squadron, Michigan National Guard. The focus of Northern Strike 22-2 has been the military’s ability to train the warfighter in any environment, and 137th SOW multi-capable Airmen have directly contributed to reaching that proof of concept.
