BANGKOK (Sept. 1, 2022) Royal Thai Marine Police (RTMP) and U.S. Naval Special Warfare (NSW) operators maneuver through the Chao Phraya River, Sept. 1, 2022. The exchange focused on water rescue and river policing where the RTMP prepared to conduct vessel search practical exercises. These exchanges enhance bilateral relations and contribute to regional stability with our Allies and partners, improving our ability to work together and build our collective strength. A strong, forward-looking U.S.-Thai defense alliance, rooted in history, helps foster a free and open Indo-Pacific region where all countries enjoy prosperity and peace. (U.S. Army photo by Cpl.
