Danish Veterans Centre researcher Mia Sadowa Vedofte controls the Forward-Looking Infrared camera attached to the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle Ambulance Kit, currently under development by the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity. The camera is part of the Helicopter Evacuation kit normally, but is on display at the Military Health System Research Symposium, Kissimmee, Fla., Sept. 13, 2022, demonstrating interoperability between systems. As the premier developer of world-class military medical capabilities, USAMMDA is responsible for developing and delivering critical drugs, vaccines, biologics, devices and medical support equipment to protect and preserve the lives of Warfighters across the globe.
