Captain Terrence Shashaty, commanding officer of Naval Air Station Pensacola, recounts the history of the Ombudsman Program and explains the ombudsman’s role in the Navy team. The program continues to grow since its inception in 1970 and there are 21 ombudsmen in the Pensacola area.
