Staff Seargent Enrique Valencia, Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow's company gunnery sergeant, speaks about the impact that the terrorist attack on 9/11 had on his life, as well as first responders, miltary, and all American citizens, during the Patriot's Day ceremony held at Mountain View Cemetery, September 10. The event was hosted by the United States Veterans Support Committee, and members of the Army's National Training Center, MCLB Barstow, local government, police department and fire department were invited to speak, were presented with awards, and Barstow's Fire Chief Nick DiNapoli rang the Barstow Fire District's Bell in the traditional final Tolling of the Bell, in honor of those lost.
