AH-64 Apaches, belonging to the 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Aviation Regiment, prepare to take off from Forward Operating Base Warhorse, Iraq, Jan. 18. The Apaches are stationed at Contingency Operating Base Speicher and are part of the Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, which is in charge of all aviation assets in northern Iraq.
